Scootaloo was very excited today. Her idol, her mentor, Rainbow Dash, the Rainbow Dash, the most awsome flyer in all of Equestria (and soon her sister) had promised to teach her how to fly.
 
She arrived on the plateau early, very early. She didn’t want to be late, after all, Rainbow Dash was her big sister, and you wouldn’t want to disappoint your big sister. Scootaloo waited in the cool mountain air, watching the distant peaks, as time went by.
 
Minutes turned to hours as Scootaloo waited and waited. She got nervous. Was it possible, that Rainbow Dash, her mother had forgotten about her? Would she even come at all?
 
Then she saw it, the trademark trail of the cyan flyer, shooting over the distant mountains, miles away, barely visible through the couds. It was then that Scootaloo realized that Rainbow Dash had abandoned her for good.
 
She turned around and walked back to the orphanage, tears dripping from her eyes…

From the thumbnail I thought those were tidal waves.
