So when I wrote the last Author’s Note, I genuinely had no plans for April Fools’ shenaniganery. And that remained true for the site. But over in video game stream land, I did pull a little con involving Pokemon White. (Though I might actually end up playing through that.)

Rainbow Dash: <roll> So does a 25 do it?
DM: Just barely. The clouds seemed to actively avoid you, but you fly so fast that they all get grouped together. But they threaten to break apart at any moment.
Twilight Sparkle: Excellent! Now, Applejack, lasso them!
Applejack: Um.
Twilight Sparkle: They’re more corporeal than regular clouds. We can trap them!
Applejack: With a lasso, she says… Fine. Straight Dex? <roll>
DM: 20? Good enough! The clouds are merged and bound.
Applejack: …And why did I do that?
Pinkie Pie: So we can squeeze them and take the BIGGEST GULP OF CHOCOLATE MILK EVER!!
Applejack: …
Rarity: No snarky quip for that?
Applejack: Nope. Ah am defeated.
DM: You realize that’s gonna taste like chocolate syrup and rainwater, right?
Pinkie Pie: DO YOU HATE FUN?! IS THAT IT?!
