Recruiting Rarity, driving a wedge between me and the rest of you, weakens the Elements of Harmony. Elusive is going after the crown, softening up the inner circle for some kind of drastic upheaval. He’s already in the line of succession…
Pinkie Pie: Aha! So then he definitely doesn’t really love you!
DM: Wow. Not a single degree of chill to be found.
Rarity: I’m sure on some tertiary or… quaternary level, he wants a peer to be his partner. But in the worst case scenario, he’ll fool himself into loving me if that’s what makes the job work. That’s what I would do. <sigh> I’m not sure whether this is a stunning tribute to my character… or a crushing indictment.
