October 10th, 2010 was the first episode of FiM.  
October 12th, 2019 is the finale date.  
9 years and 2 days.

Congrats.

To me, I started university a few months before the series began (though I only started watching the series halfway through Season 2) and now both the series and my time at university are ending one month away from each other.
 
It feels fitting.

Um, I was 11 when MLP came out and I’m in college. Think your math may be a tiny bit off

You won’t care about villains reforming and making friends.  
You won’t care how many friends the new princess will make.  
All of them will die.

Jezz I’m trying to be positive and looking back on how much the show meant to it’s generation and here you come too bring down the mood.

Fun Fact: the kids that were like 12 or 13 when mlp came out are currently in high school it’s beautiful how much this show and it’s characters have grown along side it’s audience.
