That’s exactly it. I’ve seen fans of other finished series do this sort of thing before multiple times.
Hard to do a project like this when the show has not finished yet.
Although to be fair a lot of these ideas are from my many years in the fandom, going back many seasons.
AUs like this happens to a lot of shows when they end. It’s no big deal.
