I’ve been working on this character for foreverrrr and now its finally time to debut him!
 
A few of my friends and I started this challenge between us that we’ve been calling “Self/Sona” where we draw a character that represents us, like a ponysona, but it looks a bit more like us. I decided not to go with natural colors that would actually match my hair and skin color, but this character looks a LOT more like me than Techie does XD
 
As y’all can see, the glasses are accurate with both Techie and Canary. This little cutie is chubby, short af, has leg braces (the closest I could get to my crutches), and is absolutely blind without his glasses!
 
While I love Techie with all my heart, it’s nice to design and draw a new character. My fabulous little chaos noodle isn’t going anywhere and is still my sona, but y’all might see Canary a bit more now when I feel like drawing ponies instead of draconequii ^^
 
 
Here’s a few more notes on Stage Canary:
 
-He’s a public speaker/performer and also performs in a cabaret group at a local theater
 
-When nervous or overwhelmed, Canary picks and pulls out his feathers. He doesn’t do enough to cause damage, but can occasionally look a bit patchy.
 
-Canary comes from a long line of pure unicorns and looks fairly odd when with the rest of his family.
