I hear you. This show and this fandom is the first time I felt like I belonged in a long time.

Exactly. It is good to know that.
Plus, IDW said Hasbro put in some orders for some really ambitious comic stuff, so I’m guessing that will be part of the gap content.
Not to mention there’s a lot of artists and the like who havn’t watched the show in years and still create stuff.
The only people who would be responsible for lack of content is the fans themselves, I’m not going anywhere and I hope derpibooru and fimfiction and the like are around 10 years from now, I know I’ll never stop coming back.
At least the fandom wont die yet :p
Eh, the movie does. No word on what generation it is, but the next big era of pony will launch then. Whether it is more G4, G4.5, or G5.
It’s that 2 years that will suck unless we get some gap content. EQG, web series, shorts, you know.

And G5 is really just a reboot of FiM with a new setting, so we will be fine in about 2 years.
