your current filter.That would be an awful ending that would completely ruin the series.
What would happen if everything Twilight Sparkle lived was just a dream?
Twilight Sparkle never defeated Nightmare Moon (season 1) and all the adventures are just dreams created by the villain to keep her distracted.
And when Nightmare Moon conquered all of Equestria, she began to invade other lands and added the characters to Twilight Sparkle’s dream.
And the true end of this idea would be that Twilight Sparkle manages to wake up from the dream created by Nightmare Moon, seeks her friends, obtains the elements of harmony (or any other magic) and manages to purify Nightmare Moon and ends the series with the meaning that Twilight (with Mane 6) will have to go through the same adventures again.
