Was planning on something, threw in a bunch of ideas and none of them stuck. So I just went with the most basic of basics: character with simple background.

They’re tough to figure out. So I just copied directly from pictures I found on the internet.
Sometimes the lighting of the references isn’t how I want it. As long as I have the idea of the geometry, I can work it out.
I also draw topology grid and place it on another layer sometimes, so I won’t forget how it looks “in 3d”
