A non-apology is when you make what sounds superficially like an apology, but when you consider it more closely you realise it’s not really an apology at all.
 
For example, here: sounds like an apology “I’m sorry for all those horrible things I said about you”, but then she makes it not an apology by pointing out that although the things she said were horrible, they were also true.
 
Other classic non-apologies include “I’m sorry you feel that way” after offending someone, or “I’m sorry if I offended you” (because it’s now contingent on meeting the IF clause - i.e. “if I didn’t offend you, then I’m not sorry”). xD

Sure stringing Trixie along wasn’t nice, but Trixie was doing a lot of things too like putting pressure on Starlight to keep stringing Trixie along since Starlight really wanted it to work out. Like usual Trixie was at fault.
