I’ve always had my own story regarding the Tantibus, but this is also great.

I like this idea a lot.

Interesting… The way I tend to think of Tantibus is that the’re like daemons from Warhammer 40K, creatures that are created in the dream-realm by the emotions of ponies and embody those emotions.

Hey, I never went into what this post was about. So basically my headcanon was that, before Nightmare Moon got moon’d she unleashed a bunch of tantabus on Equestria. They were utterly mindless, programed only to consume and destroy, kinda like a “magical virus.” And Celestia hunted them all down and exterminated every last one. Almost.
 
One was different. This one could think and feel. Didn’t seem right to eradicate it, so Celestia adopted her brought it under her wing. It was a little piece of Luna left behind. Not the monstrous Nightmare, but Luna. And she would cherish it. Also, train it to do paperwork and kick butt.
