YOU WILL BOW TO ME.
That’s why all analog stick-rotating minigames were replaced with simple button-pressing minigames; they didn’t even release this on Virtual Console, not even altering the minigames to either make them easier or with the aforementioned button-pressing!
 
The rotating minigames DID return in Mario Party: Island Tour, only you just rotated the Circle Pad slowly.

No matter what team I’m on I always lose on that minigame. They made it a li’l to hard.
 
Still, Mario Party 1 is one of my favorite MP games. I wish they’d rerelease that game for Virtual Console, though with the “rotate the control stick” mini games edited with new controls.  
(But I doubt they’ll ever do that. Nintendo doesn’t seem to care much about the Virtual Console service anymore. They won’t even configure the Super FX Chip SNES games like “Star Fox” & “SMW2: Yoshi’s Island” to work on it.)
