Actually, I think this comes from the Xenophilia fanfic universe, which uses a herd family system (multiple wives per husband).

You have to really go with something obscure or unusual these days since all the obvious tumblrs have been done. Twilight’s apparent mother being her step-mom and Twilight having a biological mother she never sees, for example.
