But like I said, that line is rarely drawn.
I don’t think it’s as rare as you think it is. I’m sure you could find it in other shots on other ponies, if you look for it. But even without that, it is very clearly the end portion of the curve of her body, which you can see under the left back leg.

That in no way disproves the arrow theory, only gives them more of a cover.
They don’t need a cover. Nothing about this image was intended that way.

Also, there’s that little line that makes this cap qualify for the “Featureless Crotch” tag. They almost never draw a detail like that.
Honestly it’s ridiculous to include that. You can tell just by looking at it that the line is there because of how the leg connects to the rest of the body.

Umm, correct me if I’m wrong, but I do believe this is the most detailed depiction of a pony’s hind quarters in the show’s history. I thought featureless crotch was something only fan artists did?
