2, The magic was still a bit annoying. Blend tool didn’t work that well for me. How about this one?
3, I finally learned the star tool - it was more powerful than I thought it would be! The cutie-mark part was done by dragging out few 6-corner stars and changing the perspective (new on Illustrator CC; more on that later).
