same story as Mane Six, Sonic Crossover, how the sonic characters come to Equestria is a little to explain, but Cream the Rabbit and Cheese the Chao get lost in a forest and Vanilla asks the other characters that are there to help look for her. Each character in the forest disappears and reappears in the Everfree forest, either as a pony or still their original form. They appear in the forest at different times and they soon meet a my little pony character.
Maybe it’s better they aren’t because they would have to change many things about them to fit in that canon, and to fit with Sega’s character designs.
I wish Sally and the rest of the Freedom Fighters exist in the games.
