Most blogs don’t last more than a few months to a year.

I had an ask blog once but it wasn’t working because I felt a disconnect between me and the artist; I’d rather draw the art myself but drawing isn’t my thing. Ask blogs aren’t easy.
Background Pony #4998
Why must every ask-a-pony blog that I like end as a discontinued? Four of the Tumblrs I follow so far have gone this route: “LOL sorry guys, I ain’t feeling it anymore, so that last post was the final one for this story, have a nice life.” Don’t get me wrong, the people that make these things have lives, and if they want to do something else, they can go and do it, but I hate when a artist just stops mid-sentence and leaves us hanging at the place they left of. Give us one last update when you plan to quit; a summary of where you were going with the story, an open-ended epilogue post, anything! Just give us a little more resolution than the back of your hand.
