Description
What started out as a random conversation with a friend of mine turned into me just creating a pony quartet. These four are suppose to be members of the Royal Guard, but wanted to draw them out of armor for a better reference. (Not sure if they’re gonna stay Royal Guards or if their Cutie Marks aren’t subject to change.)
From left to right:
West Wind: Pegasus. Hot blooded and wild, hates to sit still and wait around for his slower squad mates. His Cutie Mark is swirling wind, meant to look like something something on a weather report. His Special Talent is navigation, being able to tell where he’s going with an internal compass, as well as some minor weather predicting abilities. (Not too useful in Equestria, probably, with Weather Ponies and all.) He joined the guards for the thrill and excitement.
Dainty Wings: Pegasus. Reserved and calm, a pretty chill guy who prefers to take things slowly. Not shy, just quiet. His Cutie Mark is a feather duster(think the Harpie’s Feather Duster), his special talent is using his wings like hands, with expertise and precision. He does the fine tuning of their weapons and armor. He mostly joined the Royal Guards just to make bits, making trinkets and baubles doesn’t always pay those bills.
Noble Charge: Earth Pony. Was born to a family of Potato farmers on the edge of Equestria. Grew up big and strong to help protect the farmstead from unfriendlies who threatened the farm. Eventually, growing up, his family’s farm became well fortified and he wasn’t needed, so he left the farm and joined the Royal Guards to make himself useful. His Cutie Mark is a shield. His Special Talent is just being big, strong, and capable of tanking.
Silver Storm: Unicorn. A shy guy who grew up in Canterlot and went to a Magic Academy. He got his Cutie Mark in a during a storm and was trying to cast a spell to make it sunny under the academy. It resulted in him shooting a beam into the air, it coming back down creating a crater. That got him kicked out, so he joined the Royal Guards. Said Cutie Mark is just some kind of magical spark. His Special Talent is just magic in general, nothing really special or standout.
