I think im gonna have to slap a bitch.

Only thing that makes me madder is people hating on Majora’s Mask.

anyway Wind Waker still looks great to this day, the style makes it timeless while the “realistic” Gamecube Zelda Twilight Princess has aged quite a lot.

Kinda a shame ‘cause the 2D Zeldas are just as good as the 3D ones to me. (But I guess people who grew up on 3D games, might not be able to appreciate older 2D ones.)
Link’s Awakening is one of my fav’ 2D Zeldas, and was the first Zelda game with a more progressing storyline.

I don’t know, I still feel Windwaker was a nice change of pace personally. (And as I said I don’t think games have to be “realistic” to have “good graphics.”)

Y’know, the spiral dust clouds, and such in MLP:FiM kinda remind me of Windwaker’s graphic style kinda.

I liked the cartoony-looking characters in the “Realistic” Zelda games. I just didn’t think the entire game needed to look like a cartoon. And honestly I never really was able to get into the older 2d games like I was the 3d ones starting with Ocarina.

I don’t know, I liked that style personally. (In a way it almost looked like “Link to the Past” in 3D.)
If all games had the same graphics in a series, I’d be a bit bored with them honestly. Personally, I’ll take expressionism over realism any day. You see so many “realistic” graphics games sense like 2001 that they’re starting to get old to me.

And besides even the more “realistic” Zelda games like “Ocarina of Time” or “Twilight Princess” still had some NPCs or characters that looked abstract or cartoony. So it’s really nothing “new” to the Zelda series.

Anyways, great pic, I love the Quarry eels. One of my favorite MLP monsters so far.

Wind Waker’s art style would have been great in an anime or new game IP. I just didn’t think it worked for a Zelda game.
