Yarnball has an optimistic and caring attitude. She’s quite the mom friend. Yarnball is prone to knitting up gifts for her pals even if it’s not a special occasion. She’s very sweet, but can also be very tough when need be. Her catlike features really come out when she gets angry. She acts more like a cat than a pony, despite having more pony ancestors. Rarity definitely had fun doing all the things Opal wouldn’t let her do when Yarnball was young. She made plenty of tiny cat sweaters, finally put all the toys Opal didn’t play with to good use, and Yarnball loved the classic laser (still does, too, but hates admitting it). Capper tried to teach Yarnball to be fierce and confident ehen she was a kitten, and it definitely worked. She’s not afraid to stand her ground or talk smack when she needs to. Despite her relatively small stature, Yarnball can be a bit of a danger. As a baby, she loved clawing at Rarity’s fabrics, and nibbling on everyone she met wasn’t uncommon. As she grew older, this worsened with the growth of her claws and teeth, but she can control herself now. That doesn’t mean she won’t flash a claw or a fang now and again, though. A classy lady, but still tough, Yarnball is a friend to all who accept her.
