Pinkie Pie: From the studio who only has months to live before it gets absorbed into the Disney collective, comes one of their final hurrahs in the superhero cinematic universe sandwiched between the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Extended Universe…Deadpool 2. After the downer ending of “Infinity War”, and the dissapointment of “Solo” (don’t worry guys, we are getting to that one soon), audiences needed a lift, and no one does it better than the Merc With a Mouth! Ride along on this obvious setup for the X-Force movie…that kills off the entire X-Force team before they can do much of anything. Probably because Disney made sure there won’t be an X-Force movie. But at least Shatterstar is still from Mojoworld, so count your blessings! After three whole movies of not paying attention to that plot point, watch as the struggle for mutants to be accepted by humanity be put to the forefront…in a movie starrin g the guy whgo gives the least amount of shit about that issue. Your favorite characters from the first movie are back!…and that sadly includes Weasel. Sheesh, why do so many funny people get swept with this MeToo bullshit? I mean, who’s next, Jordan Peele? Together, they’ll have to rescue an evil mutant who wasn’t evil in the comics, from this orphanage that is run by Mister Sinister even though he never appears, and escape from this prison that houses Juggernaut for some reason…I don’t think this movie was quite thought through. But who cares? Deadpool is gonna make penis jokes and break the fourth wall, and that’s more than enough! (sigh) So enjoy the movie that by all rights should have been a hit, but ended up being mostly ignored, and then beaten at the box office by the Universal Monsters louynging on a cruise. Yeah…this franchise is dead. STARRING Bugs Bloody… Domino With Anchovies…I’m Fanservice, Bitch!…Mama Odie…Weasel Out of Unfortunate Implications…Fatsy Collins…and Latino Gwen Stacy. X-Farce. This is what everyone wanted in tyhe first plasce, andf they’ve been waiting a long time for, but noooo! Had to give the middle finger to your fans just because you could!
