She sold the necklace on the skeleton to some dumb blonde mare who thought it was enchanted despite Ipsy repeatedly telling her that it wasn’t. She then jumped into a pond to test the non-existent enchantment and drowned.

This is either one of two scenarios, her finding the necklace for the first time, or finding the mare’s corpse and proceeding to sell the necklace again.
