Yeah, but the ones that bug me the most are the Sonic fans that think they should be in charge of the Sonic franchise, or think they could make better games then Sega, or think their fanfics are better then the comics/cartoons. (It’s kinda conceited.)
 
I even saw a few ones trying to gain supporters to rise against Sega, and force them to make the Sonic series how they think it should… (I am absolutely serious.) Some Sonic fans are getting kinda “militant.” (I even got trolled by a few calling themselves “Sonic Malcontents,” or something stupid like that.)
 
Sega & Sonic Team may occasionally make “hit or miss” games, (they seriously need a better/bigger debug team) but I’d rather they be in charge of the series, then these so-called “Sonic fans.”  
At least bronies respect Hasbro, and the people who make the MLP show for the most part.

Sonic’s cool, (I enjoy some of his games, cartoons, and comic book series) but to put it bluntly alot of the Sonic internet fanbase are pretty much insane. (I even caught crap from a few on DA just for being a fan of the Sonic comics.)  
There was even one notorious Sonic fan called “AKnotholeResident” who kept pestering Sega of America in California so much to make his Sonic movie, that Sega sent him a letter asking him to stop. (Also, this guy never made a single movie in his life, yet calls himself a “filmmaker.”)  
This is also one of the guys who complain about Sonic having green eyes, and said Sonic 4:Ep.1 was going to be bad just because of the green eyes. (And sad thing is… Alot of Sonic fans agreed with him, and joined the anti-green-eyed bandwagon.)  
And he’s just one example.
 
Don’t get me wrong though, there actually are some cool Sonic fans out there, so they aren’t all bad.  
Some just get to obsessed with the past games, (or modern ones) or think they can do better, or attack anyone who doesn’t like their prefered ’shipping, or whatever. They give the whole Sonic fanbase a bad name on the ’net.
