Y’all ready for some more of Cricket?
“ Chirp chirp…..chirp chirp….”
- Here we have a picture AJ going through just one of her daily struggles with Cricket. You can’t use the “ These will make you grow stronger” or “These are magical” tricks once a three year old decides they don’t want to be strong and don’t want any phony magic pills. Being the obstinate little thing she was, it took every bit of self control that AJ had to not shove them down her throat.
Ah, parenthood.
- They have seen one, Cricket, just not typically on top of a pony’s head. Like I mentioned in her bio, Cricket is literally the mother hen to the farm’s flock of chickens. She even has them trained to come to her on sight, since you know, Cricket=food. All the females feel completely comfortable with Cricket hanging out and snuggling their chicks. In the winter, they all like to huddle and make one big pile of feathers and fluff, while Cricket does her homework. AJ really doesn’t mind her daughter being said chicken whisperer, but there’s a limit to how much live poultry she can bring in the house.
- Another sweet and precious moment, where Cricket screams to wake up her Dad, who ends up falling onto the floor in his panic, only to be greeted by the innocent looking munchkin bouncing up and down in excitement on his face. Once the grogginess wears off and he’s had four cups of coffee, Trouble feels proud to have his daughter take such an interest in rodeoing at such a young age. Reminds him of himself when he was young. Though, less bouncy and more clumsy.
- And finally, A Cricket age-reference-chart-thingy. You get the picture. Her hair changes many styles over the years, so to help you guys keep track of which age she’s at, I made this for you. Plus, it was a good excuse to draw wittle baby Cricky. Ain’t she so cute! :3
