Can't we all get along?

V She spent ages working on her night sky, moon and stars, and everyone was too busy having dreams to see her hard work in real life.

It’s kinda like inviting your friends to a garden party at your house, spending hours working on garden decorations and they only show up to watch a football game on your TV indoors. Sure, they’re in your company, but none of them appreciate your hard work.

…actually, this episode got me to thinking:

If dreams fall into Luna’s “jurisdiction,” then why’d she get so worked up over ponies sleeping through her night 1000s years ago? Aren’t dreams just like real life on steroids, except without the consequences of either? And if Luna had the ponies during their dreams AND waking hours, wouldn’t that have left Celestia hosed? Seriously, what was she jealous of again?
