If you were going to make more of these how much are you selling them

This is supposed to be a hunting revolver. I’m pretty sure that it needs an extended barrel for grater accuracy.

scopes on pistols….the ugliest thing of all time.

This was necroposted, but whatever. I carry a .38 revolver, no safety. If you cannot draw and shoot an accurate shot in under 2 seconds, you’re doing it wrong and you need to train more. When you fight an assailant with a knife, if he is in melee range, you sacrifice your arm to protect your guts and neck, then take your shots.

The scoped .44 is the best gun. Ever.

eh, well i’ve shot long distances with stronger pistols before, I just never used a scope with it.  
Obviously nowhere near as effective as a rifle though :v  
It might even lose enough energy by reaching the glass jugs/bottles/whatever that it won’t even penetrate, just knock it over.  
If you watch a lot of old westerns you can see a handful of long-distance pistol shots here and there.

I was about to ask the same thing.
 
While having a scope that you could look through from an arm’s length is possible, and a heavy scope would actually help absorb some recoil, I’m wondering if pistols are really accurate enough for a scope to make a difference.
 
Also, from what I understand, pistols are mostly used at close range, which makes scopes unnecessary.

Well, you don’t need to hold some scopes directly up to your eye to see through them, but I’ve never used them either, just guessing they do kinda work from having to use sextants and other naval type glasses before.

well, you dont neet to hold magnifying glasses to your eye either and they still work. setting focal points is all a matter of lense placement and cutting. yes, you can make scopes that you can look into at amrs length

I always wondered about Pistol Scopes, is it truly something worth adding? Is it really a tactical advantage? Because you generally hold handguns pretty far from your face, where it needs to be close to in order for you to actually use the scope, and it would be even worse with big calibers, considering that the knockback would probably mack you in the eye.  
Again, I know shit about guns, and may be talking out of my ass here, but just asking.

Alright, my take on guns and selfe defense: I don’t want to kill anyone, nor do I ever plan on doing so intentionally, but if my life is threatened by a would-be assailant, I want something that will pacify the threat and to make sure that I’m safe.
 
And pepper spray and martial arts are all fine and dandy, don’t get me wrong, but I see a .45 inch hole in someone’s chest as a more effective way of protecting myself.

Weight and strength does factor into learning martial arts as you think it does. Technique, mental conditioning and clever application of weight you have is all that’s required for a 4” female teenager to down a 6” muscle man. Technically.

No offense but if some guy approaches you in a parking lot to mug you, unless he was stupid enough to brandish his knife a few feet away from you or you already have a gun in your hand when he approaches, It’s gonna take some time to draw, remove safety and fire the gun. Less time than it takes for him to shank you several times, that’s if he doesn’t stop you from reaching for your weapon when he approaches you unaware. Which is why I was taught, tossing him money and running away is much better than fighting him head on(Please don’t bring up rape, please. That never seems to go great).Quite frankly, open carry is better than concealed if not for the better draw, than at least the intimidation.

When I was a stupid teen, my friends and I would spray each other with peperspray as a joke. After a few times it really has no real effect. Hell, I kinda like the smell of the stuff.
 
Trust me, that stuff is meant more as a placebo for people then as a real defense, more then likely it will just piss off the attacker.

Not as girly as the custom Hello Kitty M4 shell in pink and white plastics.

What makes me rage more then the “Paint Jobs” and the idea of tricking up your Armaments with sudo Cutimarks. IS THAT FEATHERING SCOPE!
 
Really why?

Yeah I don’t see the point of a scope on a hand gun either,unless used for hunting,it’s not practical.I personally like non lethal weapons and blades myself,I just don’t like loud weapons and I don’t like the thought of killing someone intentionally or accidentally.

Uhh, I hate it when people put scopes on handguns. Seems kinda pointless to me.  
Other than that, what a beutiful revolver.

I didn’t say they are impossible to get. Just harder than getting guns and ammo them from the local gunshop,
 
Also no gun will save you if the said thug gets close enough.  
And chancess are he will be close enough since muggers don’t just waltz out of a dark alley 20 yards away from you and say “gimme your money or i stab you (and stab you anyway)”
 
Nope he will most likely be 1-2 meters away from you with the knife up close because unless you are paranoid and have your gun ready with safety off he can and WILL get the jump on you.
 
Also as i said earlier pepper spray or tazer is good at stopping everyone without a full face gas mask will drop to the ground rubbing his eyes in pain or run away.
