I drew Derpy Hooves- oh, sorry, Muffin- from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic when I decided to do the 30 Minute Art Challenge.
Derpy Facts (for watchers who don’t know MLP or don’t know it that well):
Status: Background Pony
Coat Color: Gray
Mane/Tail Color: Yellow
Cutie Mark: Bubbles
Why she’s called “Derpy”: An animation error in “Friendship Is Magic, Part 1” made her eyes derped. Hasbro has edited the episode and all future appearances with derped eyes or where she is called “Derpy.” Due to a rumor that she would never appear in the show again, bronies and pegasisters spread the hashtag #savederpy and it reached Hasbro HQ, and Derpy has stayed on, getting speaking parts very rarely but got her own episode (technically) in the form of the 100th MLP FiM episode, “Slice of Life,” which follows the background ponies instead of the Mane 6 like usual. Final note: Derpy is best pony. Fight me.
