“fluffy pony” tag = badly drawn 4chan torture sh#t, almost banned from Derpi previously and currently tolerated under its hidden tag
 
other artists drawing cute = does not fall under it, use any tag you like but that tag is reserved from something else

How is it any different? Your argument sounds like it’s based on the fact that you want people to see it and adding a tag to it will prevent them from seeing it, even it’s a subject they rather not see on the front page.
