Then why hasn’t it been uploaded here? I am saying the most recent art that they have uploaded here, or others have uploaded here using the ‘artist:rwl’ tag, hasn’t gotten any sort of update in 3 years. And no matter which filter I use, that fact doesn’t change. Their most recent drawing is the below drawing, which is 3 years old.

Whoever made this may not even be a brony anymore. The user that uploaded this hasn’t even liked anything in 2 years, and the artist tag associated with this image hasn’t gotten a new upload in 3 years. That suggests that the artist no longer makes MLP art, likely because they simply lost interest.
Locking tags does not prevent you from viewing the change history. And even if it did, you can always look them up in the database dumps (which haven’t been updated in months, unfortunately).
I thought you couldn’t look at tag histories for featured histories, since only verified moderators could edit tags for featured images once they have been featured.
This actually could be determined accurately. Just make a list of all featured images, and note their upload time. Then look at their tag histories and note when the “featured image” tag was added. From those, one can calculate which image took the longest time to get featured.

LBF, I meant the longest time between when an image was uploaded and when it got featured, haha. It’s possible that the first ever image got featured shortly after the site was created. Meanwhile it took 11 years for this image to get featured. That’s a pretty substantial gap between upload and feature.
