Why do I like zebra-hybrids so much? Anyway, this is Aether Glow, the daughter of Twilight Sparkle and Zecora! She’s highly skilled at magic, although not in the traditional unicorn sense, and she is also rather good at potion brewing and astrology and also chemistry.
 
Now, those of you who follow my work may have noticed that this is the third pairing I’ve had Zecora be a part of. Why? Real answer; because I couldn’t decide who to pair her with so went for everyone I was trying to pick between. In-universe answer, if you like, is because Treehugger and Zecora never really meant to have a kid, and Fluttershy and Zecora broke up a few years after having Paradise because Trehugger needed a place to stay, crashed at Flutters’ with Shy and Zecora, and Zecora quickly picked up on the fact that Shy and Treehugger were slowly falling for each other. If it was anyone else, Zecora would have been cool with maybe trying to work as a three, but she and Treehugger went their separate ways for a reason so….yah, Zecora got with Twi instead a few years later.
 
As for Aether herself, she’s… generally unimpressed with how large and chaotic her family is, but she gets on with it and she really does love her parents and brother and half-siblings and… sort of… step-siblings… hmm.
 
She’s a smart girl, although not as smart as Twilight was ht her age. She wasn’t, to the surprise of many, taught magic by Twilight, instead being shipped off to Celestia’s school for gifted unicorns because Twi thought it would be nice if her daughter went to the same school as her. Aether did okay in school but mainly found it a bit dull, preferring to make friends and chat to them in class over doing the work. This frustrates her parents a bit because she has potential and she isn’t using it, but, at the same time, they’re happy that she has friends.
 
Genuinely can’t think of anything else to say here; I’m absolutely shattered and I can’t think straight.
