I still kind of stand with that Trixie never intended to go back to Ponyville and cause so much trouble until she put the amulet on, it made her natural arrogance and boastfulness into spitefulness and hatred.

Well that’s my point. They’re on good terms now, so now it’s not an obnoxious forced ship. Trixie would realistically have to work very hard for Twilight’s affections, though. Forgiveness doesn’t automatically equal respect.

Sure a ship can be justified but if it never really made sense a few kind words won’t change that. But like you said shipper gonna ship, and Twixie will continue to be a Destroyer class vessel. And the recent episode showed that Trixie can be at least a little humble which is something shippers can confidently work with now.

Well Fanguy, I never thought it was justified because before Magic Duel they weren’t even on speaking terms. Trixie resented Twilight and Twilight sure as hell didn’t respect Trixie.
 
But now they’ve reconciled so there you go. Yeah yeah I know, shippers gonna ship, but I’m looking at it from a logical standpoint.
