I listened to micthemicrophone read it and it was even sadder the way he read it. His EMOTION and the music playing put me to tears at least 4 times.

Man, I remember reading this a few months ago. I didn’t cry, but I did get teary-eyed. I got temporarily depressed and had to read the sequels to get it out of my mind. Even now, the sadness lingers in my brain.

I went into Dashie with low expectations after reading some crap fan fics. Holy cow, it worked. It got some really complex emotions in there and made me cry like almost no other book has. Not with cheap melodrama but with hard earned bittersweet writing.
