I’m curious, what is the traditionally accepted time period for moving on from illegally slanderous accusations of pedophilia and personal attacks against one’s significant other? One would simply hate to be gauche and breach etiquette on such a matter, it would be like wearing White Power T-shirts after Labor Day.

Discourse has been pretty civil here, and OP’s image is “public record”.

He could’ve worded things nicer, but I don’t blame him for being a bit ticked off when someone is passively aggressively getting on Sibsy’s case. He’s just defending her, like she defended him.
 
Also, guys he’s not just upset about people attacking him, but people online are attacking Michelle Creber’s family, as well.
 
Let’s not demonize people we hardly know, ok? Mando & Sibsy are cool people, and this “drama” is their business, and there’s no justifying how they, and the Creber family have been treated.

After reading more of the conversation, it’s obvious that Madnsdestiny is the guilty party. I can understand why MandoPony would be upset after being treated so poorly.

We have to make sure everyone who makes things are put on a tall pedestal where they can’t hear fans. That’s the way things are supposed to be.

as a former art critic i got a lot of haters with basically the same argument “i’d like to see you do better” and such. Then i spent a year learning from my favorite artists on how to draw with different techniques. I then proceeded to make many illustrations including animated content demonstrating how to draw properly. After that they never bad-mouthed my knowledge. I think it’s a shame that a lot of good critics get criticized by artists. Critiquing and creating are two entirely different skill trees. It is not often that you find people who CAN do both. I can because i lack skills in other areas like social skills. It’s more than being a lonely nerd, I actually autistic. True there are certain skills and techniques that can be learned but the refinement of an artist’s skill is predominantly built on experience i.e. practice. A critic learns to observe and analyze. With those skills they are highly capable of noticing errors and can provide advice to help the artists improve. Artists mainly create through instinct and subconscious learning. Essentially critics think their work and artists feel their work. Artists should learn to respect critics and take advice from them and critics should learn to respect artists and help guide them. As an artist and critic I respect both the people who criticize me and the artists i criticize regardless of their skills at the other person’s job. If a critic can’t draw it does not mean they don’t know about art, likewise a good artist might not be the best tutor on how to draw. The world would be a better place if we all listened to other people’s opinions and took note of them regardless of whether you agree with them. Often even people who know very little about the topic at hand can surprise you by coming out with a statement that is very true. Even idiots have moments of genius. Likewise, even geniuses can be really stupid when they get onto certain topics. Judging by the well thought out sentences of madnsdestiny i’m guessing they took the time to think about what they typed. It’s usually an indicator of people having some knowledge of what they are saying.

Yeah, we get it, he’s pissed. That’s a normal reaction when a whole load of people start calling you a pedo and then insulting your friend.
