After Starswirl broke up with Crosswind, she was devastated and heartbroken for weeks. Swiftwing, one of her younger brother’s good friends, saw Crosswind crying by herself and came over to comfort her. Swifty and Crosswind have known each other since they were kids, so Swiftwing knew exactly how to make her feel better. Not long after, Swiftwing started to frequently check up on her, and since then, Crosswind hasn’t felt so bad.
Swiftwing is the son of Spitfire and Soarin, by the way.
