Different people have different reasons, furries pulling stuff like this being one.
Some just because they’ve always hated furries for the typical internet reasons
The final reason being that we often get insulted by being called furries, and we don’t want to associate ourselves with them so we show that we dislike them to make a clear distinction.
To be honest, I don’t hate furries even though I am not one myself. I say this because I know it’s just an interest and you shouldn’t be hated for your interests, only your actions.
