“Twilight…TWILIGHT!!!,” said Solarist in his Canterlot Royal voice. He was getting impatient with that purple mare. Why was he stuck here in the first place? It sucks and worst of all Twilight won’t fawn over his sweet comments and snarky flirts.

“What is it this time Solarist,” ask Twilight. She rolled her eyes in disbelief at the Sun Prince’s unprofessional act. He’s suppose to be the controller of the Sun, The Prince of Day, The Ruler of Equestria, but the only thing Twilight sees is a big childish overpowered flirt Lord.

“It’s just Solar, we’re friends remember. Solarist sounds too old,” whined the sun alicorn.

“Fine….Solar….what is it?” said Twilight with a sigh.

“I’m dying of boredom, can’t we do anything fun?,” asked Solarist with puppy dog eyes. Begging for a spark of fun. He couldn’t take it anymore.

“You know I can’t right now Solar, I’m really busy at the moment,” said Twilight as she shakes her head in disapproval.

“Just find something else to do without me,” Twilight began to trot away from Solar, but before she could go any further Solar yanked the end of her tail with his magic in protest.

“No…..you’ll do as I say,” grumbled Solar his magical grip strong on Twilight tail.

“…You’re such a surprise to me Prince Solarist,” mumbled Twilight is awe. There’s no other way round this, Princess Luna did assign her on this. So…..

“Alright you big doof, get up we’re going somewhere,” Twilight gave out a sigh of defeat. Solarist joyously got up and started to follow happily behind the purple unicorn.

Twilight could only wonder of what is to come next from the troublesome Solarist.

So the context of this piece is:

Solarist was having a bit of trouble with making friends or being friendly in anyway. He only flirts and it doesn’t help much. Like yeah sure ladies like it, but you can’t flirt in a meeting room or making agreements with whistles and flirty comments.

So Luna sent Solarist to ‘stay’ with Twilight for a while to learn about proper friendship. Solarist was bein a big doof most of his stay. But Twilight didn’t mind. Solarist also happened to be a big attention seeker. So if Twilight isn’t paying attention or is busy doing something else. Solarist becomes a grumpy 5-year-old and starts doing childish things.

Twilight thinks it’s cute, but don’t tell sshhhhh.

Prince Solarist did learn a few things about friendship and he did slowly became a good ruler.
