This is a photo of the collégiale Notre Dame of Dole, in the Jura. a monument that marks the transition between gothic and roman architecture, and a symbol that marks the door of Franche-Comté at a time when french and comtois were enemies. (we still are, but just had enemies in common.)
For this one, the idea was to shoot at a small aperture, maybe f22, to get both Twilight/books and the collégiale in focus, turned out too dark or too noisy, so i had to widen the aperture, add all of the filters, and focus while it was shooting. despite the wind and all, i think i can’t do better.
