Fly By Night
“Wow, this turned out great!” River grinned as she sat in the photographer’s office, relaxing on the green couch as she looked the picture in her hand over. Across the room sat a purple stallion with a blue-green mane, arm hung over the back of his wooden chair with a tired look in his eyes.
[Glad it did, because that was the best out of ten… you aim for quality, Miss Clear.]
“That I do, Mr. Lens, because quality is what I am.” River smiled as she flicked her hair back with her hand. She was still dressed up for the holiday in her costume, broom leaned against the wall next to her as she crossed one leg over the other. “And that should be true of every picture taken of me.”
[Well, you worked with one of the best!] Lens grinned and gave her a thumbs up before moving his arm off the back of the chair, clasping his hands together as he leaned on the desk. [Now, ah… about payment?]
River raised her eyebrow, looking up at the stallion as she smiled. “Oh, don’t you worry about that. I’ve already got a way in mind to make this well worth your time.”
The stallion blinked as she got to her hooves and walked towards the desk, reaching towards the bit medal holding her cloak on as she licked her lips…
Note: Welp, this one’s being posted on its own and just in time for Halloween! Many sharp-eyed consumers will notice what this costume is referencing without having to look at the link, but yes, this is Witchy River. Something of a request of mine from a long time ago that Splint (thanks a ton by the way, dude) carried out recently with color, shading and a flourish! As usual, his quality work is a sight to see. Enjoy your spooky holiday, everyone!
Also, worry not, nothing dirty happened. At least I hope not, the camera faded out before I could be sure.
