I don’t have any physical media anymore, I just go to youtube whenever I want to hear music anymore.
It’s… an ok album. I’m a HUUGEE Gorillaz fan (have all their albums, their b-sides/remixes, even saw them front row in the Damascus Citadel during their Plastic Beach tour), so needless to say I enjoyed The Fall, but it’s not like their previous albums, and if your expecting that, you’ll probably be disappointed.
Yeah, I think only heard one thing from The Fall.
Yea the ending was abrupt, that bothered me too. And I really don’t think “The Fall” is to the same caliber as their other works (but the fact that he did it all on an iPad is pretty impressive).
I know that it’s not for good and all that.
I do wish they would finish the plastic beach storyline.
My understanding is that Jamie just wants to try out some other projects he’s been putting off, so this will give him a chance to do that. Hopefully once he does what he wants to do he’ll work with Damon again and release another album (which I really think is going to happen, just not for a while).
I can’t see them scrapping the Gorillaz project all together.
I like them too. Great band, I like their demon days stuff most of all.
But I hope their hiatus ends fairly soon.
Tiss true, awesome band overall. If you ever get the chance to see them perform live don’t pass it up.
