We drink cow milk because we’ve bred cows to reliably produce milk in large volumes after only a few years of life. We can’t do that with human milk.

I just thought about this:  
Here on derpibooru, udders on a pony are questionable/explicit tagged, while udders on a cow are safe. Why?

It’s weird to drink human milk because we’re an odd species who finds things like that creepy. I don’t think ponies would have the same taboo.

I’d imagine it just doesn’t bug them. I don’t imagine ponies fetishize breasts like we do in America. Not every culture has the same rules about where you can and cannot touch/look at another person.

Most animals don’t need milk after a certain age. I assume the treats ponies make use milk though..
