Description
Sylphina, a fae mare. Visually based off of the red-spotted purple butterfly.
A cousin species to the larger changelings and smaller breezies, faes (also known as flutter ponies) tend to seclude themselves from the other equine races, due to violence shown towards them in the past. They vary wildly in colour, though their coats are usually on the duller, darker side, albeit commonly with brighter spots or other markings. While butterfly-like wings are the most common, faes may also have dragonfly, bee, or beetle-like wings.
Most faes have a horn, but unlike changelings and unicorns, they are largely vestigial and incapable of channeling magic. Faes usually use them for sparring or defence.
