Because wanting people to treat other people with dignity and accept each others’ differences as human beings is the cataclysm of our times, amirite?

Regardless of your stance on filters, we do expect you to have the self-discipline to be civil and to not use images as soapboxes for your unrelated moral outrages. Please wage your social war in the forums or on some site appropriate for such discussions.
So you’re going to downvote an image - not based on the quality or content of the image at hand - but on the artist?
Why should I? While I consider humanizations with out‐of‐place religious garb or skin colors to be inane I won’t downvote them simply because of that–there needs to be some evidence that the artist has an ideological axe to grind to get my downvote. Based on the artist’s favorites on DA and their Facebook it’s pretty clear that she’s chummy with the SocJus community, supportive of their causes and shares their prejudices. As such I’m not giving her the benefit of the doubt; this pic is an instance of forced diversity–politically motivated bullshit–and deserves downvotes just like mouthpieces do.

There are filters
Use them
Forced diversity deserves nothing but downvotes.
It’s mostly about tradition.
True. The militant atheists never fail to jump on things like that.
I mean, I think it’s kind of odd to associate MLP and religion in general, even as a Catholic myself; but seriously, 84% of the world follows some religion to some degree, and no matter how many images they downvote, it’s not going away anytime soon.

It’s not really fair to some artists, though, because sometimes something they made to be trash will get more votes than their GOOD work.
I guess we can’t all win, though.
@zerowinger66
If only they went ahead and nuked downvotes
In fairness, lots of people will also downvote any images tangentially relating Christianity as well.

Fyay off back to /pol/, people.
That being off my chest, stellar work, especially on that tattoo.
