A hike into the nearby Everfree, simply because Latch had decided to gallivant off on her own, she’d had the misfortune of stepping upon some poison joke. The effects weren’t very apparent for the first couple hours, however… Latch had started to feel strange. Something didn’t feel right with her.
Disrobing and taking off her armaments, Latch started to feel an unusual stiffness to herself, one that also made her head feel thick. She’d felt confined within her armor for reasons she couldn’t quite explain, and she’d felt compelled to keep herself free and “unrestrained” from her armor. Sitting down against the grass, pressing one of her forehooves against her forehead, Latch breathed in deeply, trying to make sense of what was happening to herself. More and more was it difficult to grasp her thoughts and to formulate any.
Within her body, she felt a brief little tingle that went from her head to her hooves. Instinctively, and almost immediately, she stood up on her hind legs, standing straight and balancing on the limbs precariously. Not knowing why she’d done so, merely following impulsion, she felt the tingle again, this time coming from the bottom of her hooves. There, she’d felt her balance to be more… firm, of all things.
Trying to lift her hind legs, Latch felt as though they were grafte- no… a part of the soil now, as she’d felt something snaking out into the soil, keeping her quite literally, rooted in place. Breathing in and out worryingly, her heart rate starting to climb, Latch felt some manner of fuzz - something of a curtain drawn over her thoughts as she tried to force herself to move. Impulse then made her put her hooves to her sides, as the tingle happened once more.
Bliss followed in the wake of it, making her shudder as she felt her mind melting beneath a wonderful sensation stemming from the fuzz within her mind. Not really aware of her predicament any further, lost in the bliss that would wash over her every couple dozen seconds, her body had continued to transform. Huffing, Latch couldn’t ignore the coldness she felt stemming from her hooves, now crawling up her body.
Seconds rolled by, turning into minutes, and eventually into an hour as she remained affixed in place. The concept of time was lost, no longer able to focus on it as the slow, cold sensation continued to crawl up her body, turning her body into a seamless, smooth sheen of latex, one that matched her coat in its entirety. Wiggling in place, Latch’s face remained in a frozen pant as its slow advance never halted for even a moment.
Another hour had passed and Latch felt her forelimbs fusing to her sides, and eventually, melding behind her back, removing them from her body completely. Around her neck, a collar of leaves and petals started to sprout, the color of which matching that of the very plants she’d walked upon. Gasping, feeling that mind-numbing, pleasurable tingle upon her mind, Latch started to slowly waver in place. Rolling her head back, she felt the coldness creeping past her neck and into her cheeks, giving it a shine and polish that was of latex.
Soon enough, the coldness had wrapped itself around her head and mind, freezing her in a neverending state of bliss as she continued to wobble and waver within the Everfree… deep within the woods… all by herself.
Not the best thing I wrote, but a story nonetheless to go with the story. I hope you enjoy it.
