White supremacy, especially considering al cops are,is a spook.
Sure your cops lacks training and all, but this is a broad assumption unless it can be backed up by evidence and analysis.
Because already, homicide stats indicates more whites are shot than blacks despite the proportion of the american population, but if you believe it’s true, please link me to an analysis that proves it.

Normally people would say all lives matter because it is true, like this image made three years ago (is saying in some way). Right now people are saying black lives matter because there are existing implications that some people think black lives doesn’t matter and BLM is used as a counter-statement. Both sayings are valid in their circumstances.

On a different note, I believe drawing a character say something that will fit in their universe while also expressing your point in a clever way, like in this image, is MUCH better than having them shout/wave a IRL slogan.

Actually, in police training in most places they have to watch racial sensitivity videos, and stuff, and I’ve seen videos of police helping minorities, and such.

So honestly, you’re just fanning flames of hatred, much like a racist would. In fact, that logic that, “a few people do a bad thing, so they all must be violent/bad” is the same exact logic a racist or something uses to justify their own biases, and their own hatred. Except, you’re descriminatng based on occupation, instead of race, which is just as ignorant IMO. I doubt you’ve even met enough police officers to judge the entire force as the “K.K.K.” or something… What’s your solution? Get rid of all police?

Also, I’m all for protesting, (as long as it’s peacefull) but memers shouting things like, “ACAB/All cops should die!” and rioters killing black officers doesn’t reflect well on the cause, and is just going to cause more division, and issues.
We need to unite citizens, and police alike against things like racism.

The End wasn't The End - For those that found a new home

@Antonyourknee
The issue is both white supremacy and police corruption. American police culture molds whites and non-whites to be brutal to minorities and look the other way when white fellow officers do their thing. And the non-white officers are pressured to be “one of the good ones” and participate in brutality, or at least do nothing to stop it. The root of it all is white supremacy.

This is the mugshot of the cops. The guy your talking about is J. Alexander Kueng who may be a light skinned black or Arab. Also one is Asian full
The photo shows that three directly sat on him, while one made sure no interfered. They are took no action to save Mr. Floyd and are all responsible for his death. Derek Chauvin, the one who had he knee on his neck happened to be white and thus the media and activist went with this being an act of White supremacy. That’s the narrative now. The fact that everyone from President Trump to the local mayors to a majority of citizen agreed the police were in the wrong and demanded their arrest and investigation before any protest seems not to have dampened that narrative.

For sure the cops and police unions don’t do enough to stop police incompetence. Read this article to see one worst acts of police incompetence I’ve ever seen(thankfully no one died) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_of_Charles_Kinsey. Police unions are made to defend police actions rather than tell the truth and too often cops get away with slaps on the wrist. This seems more like acts of ingrope protection and corruption than “white supremacy”. America is more than ready for police reform, and groups like full which are more politically neutral and focus on institutional reform over identity politics are drowned out by Toxic Groups like BLM. The lockdown prepared America to demand more from our authorities but now calls for reform have descended into racial politics, the media and elites cheering them on,knowing no change will come. Its sad really, another opportunity for restructuring seemingly wasted.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t one of the cops a light skinned black guy? That would probably deal at least some damage to the notion that it was racially motivated. Also one small correction, I’m fairly sure you’re talking about the Tony Timpa case, the cop didn’t have his knee on his neck, he had it on his back, but the point still stands, since Tony was pleading with the officers, and ended up dying, and the cops got off. In regards to the Minneapolis case, I think there’s a case to be made that the department has a problem with bad training, rather than lack of training. The fact that they were quick to defend the officer that killed George by bringing up George’s criminal history. While it might not be a bad thing to note that he wasn’t a perfect model citizen, it ultimately doesn’t legitimize excessive use of force by the officer in question. I also understand that the neck hold the officer in question used was listed as a legitimate form of arresting someone, I’m not an expert in use of force, but I’ve seen many comments from people claiming to be military and police that say they were taught such a maneuver is lethal and shouldn’t be used in such a situation, so if this was considered by-the-book for this department, then there’s a legitimate case to be made that someone needs to do an investigation into them to determine if their methods are truly reasonable or not, which I honestly doubt they are. There were multiple cops there at the time, and I just find it highly suspect that they couldn’t reasonably subdue him without resorting to kneeling on his neck, I could be wrong, but I just don’t see it. So ultimately I’d say the fault lies on either the officer, the department, or potentially both, though I’m leaning a bit on the department since they defended what he did. I’m not sure if there’s any protocol for investigating and potentially charging a police department, but if there isn’t there ought to be.

I mean of the four cops one was Asian and another Arab.
And the guy who had his knee on the victims neck had an Asian wife.

Now Thats not evidence to say that they all didn’t hate black people specifically, but I guarantee you the number one reason Floyd was killed was because he was poor. Regardless of race or gender,Cops do stupid things a lot of times for lack of training, experience or common sense, and will lord their authority to subjects of any race.

There is even video of cops kneeling on a white mans neck until he dies, making jokes as he suffocates.
I generally support police officers but for whatever reasons cops often fail to use basic reasoning and needlessly escalate situations even if it isn’t a threatening one,on top of whatever bias some may have. Needless to say this makes the cops who do try to think things out jobs harder.

Once again not saying the cops that killed Floyd weren’t racist, but the narrative of they killed him solely because he was black is questionable at best, some evidence even indicates it may have been a personal vendetta.

Racists, and bigots could be anyone no matter the occupation, or the way they look unfortunately.
However, if we go through life demonizing each other constantly, then we all look like demons. To get through life, we can’t just hate everybody else, or ourselves. Sometimes we have to give others a chance, especially during these tough times.

I remember hearing about a black man whom actually talked to a racist white man, and the TLDR version is, he lost his racism, and then they became best friends. I know this’ll sound incredibly sappy, and cheesy, but sometimes the power of mere niceness can overcome hatred.

Yeah, if anything, encouraging violence/hatred/bias against the police force is just going to cause more issues, and division, and during these times we don’t need more division in this country, with the virus scare, and other crap going on. That’s why I hate that too, and it’s hypocritical, as well, because, as already stated below black cops DO exist, and a black cop was murdered during these events too.

That’s always a problem with groups that advocate some form of justice, tho. They are hypocritical.
It never goes both ways. The others are always the evil oppressors and the own group can do no wrong.
Pointing this out or giving a valid argument against that is always heresy.
It wouldn’t be such a problem for someone to say that all lives matter if people didn’t immediatly see it as a form of racism and of course only white people can be racist because we said so.

I can understand that but whenever I see people respond with all lives matter it feels like they’re saying that thethe group is saying that only black lives matter which is not the case. And yes I do agree that that the protesters ain’t actually hoping that much

That cartoon’s kinda strawmanning, but I can kinda understand why some insist on saying “all lives matter” instead.
If you reverse it, like if somebody said, “White lives matter,” that would come off as pretty racist.

Also, as I pointed out below these BLM protesters don’t seem to care a black police officer was killed in their own protest riots. (Guess his life didn’t matter to them…) So it’s understandable why some protesters don’t want to associate with BLM, or anything really.
