As usual, Pinkie Pie had helped Twilight with a party in the castle for Hearth’s Warming Eve. Despite being reformed, Trixie still wasn’t too comfortable being around ponies she once had forced under her control. To help her friend, Starlight invited her out on a walk in the snowy night, the two admiring the decorated town as they strolled along.

“Trixie? Are you okay? You look chilly,” Starlight said as they walked through Ponyville. Her Unicorn friend’s teeth were chattering and shivers were starting to become more and more common.

“C-Chilly? T-The Great and P-Powerful T-Trixie, d-d~~does not g-get c-c-c-chilly.” She huffed, raising her nose to the air. Starlight raised a brow and rolled her eyes, pressing against her friend as they continued along. She unbuckled her jacket, wrapping it around the two with a smile.

“Well, I was actually starting to get kind of cold ~~ maybe we could share my coat?” She suggested before frowning as Trixie began to grow redder and redder, avoiding her gaze. She pressed her forehead to her’s, trying to see if she was getting warm at all. “Trixie? Are you catching a cold out here?”

The usual boisterous Unicorn was quiet, shaking her head but still avoiding her gaze.

“Hm, let’s head back to the castle and get some hot cocoa, okay? The party must have died down by now, I bet we can even squeeze in some magic practice~”

Trixie looked up finally and smiled, nuzzling Starlight affectionately. “The Great and Powerful Trixie thinks that sounds wonderful but, uh, she would also like to ask if you wouldn’t mind sharing your coat until we get back…”

The purple Unicorn simply laughed and returned the nuzzle, “Of course, Trixie, of course.”
