Father: a Saddle Arabian Prince (oldest son of the two delegates we’ve seen in the show)

Siblings: one older half sister (Twilight is the mom for both of them)  
Special Talent: Astronomy (knows everythings thats there to know about it, his biggest dream is going to space)
 
Personality:  
Neb is a bit on the shy side. Like his mother in her youth, he’d rather spend time in his room sleeping in the day and watching the sky through his telescope. He’s more of a loner and his only friends are Congerie (who enjoys annoying the crap out of him when he actually wants to get some work done. Stupid Noodle ponee!), his halfsister (though they’re not even remotely as close as Crispin and Cellini) and Pumpkin Cake who babysat him when he was younger. He enjoys the company of older ponies much more since they’re more mature than ponies of the same age as him. (Well, aside from Congerie… but he can’t physically shut her out like the others, so he just rolls with it and actually finds her quite amusing)  
Because of his royal status, many ponies mistake his reservation towards them when they try to make friends with him as arrogance.  
Orion has a lot of selfdoubt because of his bad social skills and lack of friends while in the same time feeling like the eyes of all of Equestria and Saddle Arabia are on him to see if the liason between Twilight and her husband can bring forth a respectable offspring (since, you know… two veeery different cultures collide here). He’s just glad he doesn’t have to take over Twilight’s role as Princess of Friendship.  
When his Congerie notices that he’s sad or nervous or just distracted from his work because of this thoughts, he’ll just say it’s because he didn’t get any further to becoming the first pony in space. She tries to encourage him everytime, unaware of his actual feelings.
 
Other:  
Orion is currently working on a spell that allows him to watch the sky at daytime without damaging his eyes. Also researches a lot for possibilities to go to space.  
He has a difficult relationship with his older sister, since she feels like standing in his shadow. (Even tho she’s the heir to Twilight’s throne)
