I agree with Background Pony.

The sculptor at the very least went through the trouble of making the sculpture. That in itself should be enough to appreciate it.

And John Joseco had, in my opinion, the only appropriate reaction, whether he liked it or not.

it´s really the thought that counts, if a character you make means enough to someone else to get fanart, even if badly (which does not apply here) it´s still flattering.
