And unlike Nightmare Moon, who wanted the night to last forever, you could imagine Robot could be much darker in such a transformation…:iconnightmaremoonplz: His first order of business would probably to make the world not only be reigned by darkness, but probably make those who wronged him suffer. :fear:
 

 
An early Halloween picture I made. I’m really happy about the way this turned out, and I hope the members of the :iconrobot-and-monster: group think so and might even be encouraged to make RnM pictures for the scary holiday as well. :D
 
The idea struck me when I often wondered what Robot would look like as Nightmare Moon, and the colors were the first thing that came to mind, as well as the eyes and the flowing mane. :hmm:
 
Considering Robot’s a Mechanical(that’s a fancy term to define a machine individual in the Robot and Monster universe), I knew I had to draw him to resemble Nightmare Moon while at the same time it fit his appearance. :idea:
 
To emulate Nightmare Moon’s wings, that’s when I imagined Robot with a jetpack. The flowing mane Nightmare Moon has, I added the same style to substitute the wire of Robot’s antenna, giving it that magic and science appeal. ;) I fancied the resemblance of Nightmare Moon’s shoes and designed them to appear as the fancy covers for Robot’s wheels. :) The glimmering attire Nightmare Moon wore over her chest was my favorite part to work on as I drew it as a hatch and finished the chestplate with a fancy ‘R’ as well as a add the moon symbol. :aww: And the eyes…oh, the eyes were definitely fun as well. :D
 

 
:iconreadplz::iconarrowrightplz: I’m going to be honest to you guys, and I especially apologize to all you bronies out there (I’m a fan of MLP FIM, don’t worry), between Robot and Princess Luna, I think Robot has a better reason to, if ever, transform into an evil creature of darkness than Luna had. A BIGGER reason, actually. Many reasons, to be exact. ^{;
 
 
Here’s why I think so:
 
 
Princess Luna  
:bulletblue: Grew bitter and furious when the ponies adored the day and ‘shunned’ the night. That’s pretty much it…};
 

 
Robot  
:bulletorange: Has always been ridiculed and pushed around by his older brother, even back in childhood.  
:bulletorange: Shunned by his own family because he’s ‘different’; best examples were shown in the episodes “The Party” as well as “Family Matters” when they often tried to hide family events behind his back.  
:bulletorange: Sometimes has a hard time making new friends as displayed in the episode “First Impressions”. Some people had even openly stated that he seems like the kind of person to be immediately disliked…:depressed:  
:bulletorange: Unhappily working in the Blinking Lights Factory, which had been given to his brother by their father due to ‘obvious favoritism’, and suffering mishaps of that place nearly every day.  
:bulletorange: The award he won in high school was revoked due to the impression that he seemed ‘undeserving of such an honor’.  
:bulletorange: His inventions often being ignored or criticized by the ignorant(which is almost every individual in the RnM universe).  
:bulletorange: Sometimes has low self-esteem about himself, even when determined to make his dreams come true. :sniff:
 

 
While Luna was just angry that ponies didn’t seem to appreciate the night she brought as shown in the very first MLP FIM episode, Robot had a bad childhood and being a young adult today still holds some difficulty for him. :( Compared to him, Luna had it SO much better 1,000 years back then. ^^;
