As I said when this was posted before the problem.  
It made no sense with the harnesses, they show nothing holding them on or enplane how thay just attach to the back of the dragons head, then all the wight of it and the rider somehow of not ill effects on the neck of the dragons as that is where it’s attached to them.

I hardly think it would take a dragon to defeat the Royal Guard, and the Princesses are ponies you want to attack indirectly.
 
Does anyone else feel like the Diamond Dogs are somehow connected to dragons, what with the mutual gem hoarding trait?
