The filly use the puddle to wipe off some of the blood before heading outside.
The Wind knocks her around as she exits the threshold. After she learns how to adjust herself to the torrents of wind, she looks to the lantern. It take her a while but eventually she gets the lantern down from the hook.
Looking around, she recognizes that she is on some kind of pier. Connected to the pier is a small bridge leading to a trail.
The filly strains her eyes as she tries to see what looks like a large tower in the distance where the trail seems to lead.
The sea swells up on the pier, splashing the filly. Her coat is already soaked to the bone.
A foreboding chill runs through her body as she looses more and more heat. The warm lantern is her only saving grace, but even it’s warmth soon will not be enough.
